Sam is a natural problem-solver who brings creativity and clarity to the way hmh uses technology. As Solutions Manager, he designs and builds custom systems for both clients and internal teams, helping identify inefficiencies and turning complex processes into practical, workable solutions.

His work spans a wide range of projects from developing tools that help financial planners track and understand investments, to creating systems that improve analytics, reporting and workflow across the firm. Sam enjoys the challenge of knowing there’s never just one way to reach an outcome; programming, for him, is a creative process where each solution reflects how you think and what the problem truly needs.

Sam values hmh as a place that genuinely invests in people and ideas, giving him the space to build a role that didn’t previously exist. Outside work, he channels his creativity into music, digital art and hands-on projects including building his own electric guitar.
